Stephanie & Ryan {Wedding}

Stephanie and Ryan were married on November 22nd, the exact same day as her parents only 25 years later.  Happy Anniversary !  Its amazing that with all the planning and preparation that goes into a wedding things actually go wrong (we see it every weekend).  What is truly amazing is that everything almost always seems to work out.  20 min before the ceremony we were shooting Stephanie’s bridal portraits when the fateful phone call came.  The guys did not have the rings!  They were locked in the safe at the house which was an hour away round trip!  By the end of the phone call the ceremony was to start in 15 min.  I don’t know which groomsman made the drive, but by the grace of God, he survived the trip in record time.  The ceremony started late, but well within the normal standards.  After a beautiful ceremony at St Johns Roman Catholic church in Allentown family and friends gathered at Stephanie’s parents house prior to the reception.  Pilling onto a full size motor coach the bridal party pressed on to the Merion in Cinnaminson NJ where the reception was being held.  After a brief few min inside the wedding party braved the 28 degree temperature to take some photographs outside, we were done in record time, and not one complaint about the cold from the wedding party.  They were awesome!

Stephanie and Ryan’s entrance was without a doubt the funniest of the year!  The doors open as “Party like a rock star” blasted thru the room.  The somewhat reserved couple (so I thought) is covered in BLING and has foil over their teeth and is just working the crowd.  It was so unexpected it just worked!  Great job guys….

The rest of the evening was a wonderful mix of family and friends having a great time on the dance floor!

Congratulations, enjoy the honeymoon.

Stephanie & Dean {Wedding}

Good thing it rained this weekend…. With Dean and the majority of his groomsmen being local fire fighters , the threat of being called off to run into a burning building (these boys are crazy, it’s way too hot in there for me) was diminished slightly.  Remember kids don’t play with matches!  The weather held off just enough to play no role in their wonderful day.  We had the great pleasure of meeting both sides of the family and even found we have some mutual friends.  Saber, please say “Hi” to Oren for me.  As Stephanie and Dean exited the church, we had a brief few moments (due to rain) to take several pictures with an antique fire truck from the company that Dean belongs to.  As we arrived at the Old York Country Club, the party was in full swing awaiting the newlyweds.  30 years apart…  Dean’s mother requested that I take a picture of Dean and two friends.  She has a shot of them from when they were in kindergarten and wanted a then and now shot.  I like doing these; maybe some photographer at Dean & Steph’s son or daughter’s wedding will take a third picture of them…Dean and Steph we wish you the best of luck.  Enjoy your honeymoon!
