Stephanie & Dean {Wedding}

Good thing it rained this weekend…. With Dean and the majority of his groomsmen being local fire fighters , the threat of being called off to run into a burning building (these boys are crazy, it’s way too hot in there for me) was diminished slightly.  Remember kids don’t play with matches!  The weather held off just enough to play no role in their wonderful day.  We had the great pleasure of meeting both sides of the family and even found we have some mutual friends.  Saber, please say “Hi” to Oren for me.  As Stephanie and Dean exited the church, we had a brief few moments (due to rain) to take several pictures with an antique fire truck from the company that Dean belongs to.  As we arrived at the Old York Country Club, the party was in full swing awaiting the newlyweds.  30 years apart…  Dean’s mother requested that I take a picture of Dean and two friends.  She has a shot of them from when they were in kindergarten and wanted a then and now shot.  I like doing these; maybe some photographer at Dean & Steph’s son or daughter’s wedding will take a third picture of them…Dean and Steph we wish you the best of luck.  Enjoy your honeymoon!

Sarah & Buddy {Wedding}

What an emotional roller coaster this day turned out to be!  The day started at Sarah’s parents house, where due to a late ceremony, Sarah and Buddy would see each other prior to the wedding.  After a few pics of Buddy seeing Sarah and her one-of-a-kind dress, we loaded the whole wedding party (26 plus) onto a motor coach.  We were on our way to Lucien’s Manor in Berlin NJ where the ceremony and reception would take place.  En-route we spotted an abandoned train station in Sewell NJ where we stopped and grabbed a few more photos.  Unfortunately, after giving the invocation Buddy’s grandmother became ill and she and her daughter (Buddy’s mother) left for the hospital by ambulance.  With the uncertainty of her condition, a somber mood was felt by the 200 plus attendees, but as the night progressed the dance floor became full and the joy of their wedding took hold.  Enjoy your honeymoon.  We hope your grandmother is doing well.
