Jolyn & Scott {Wedding}

We had such a great time with Jolyn, Scott & their wedding party this past weekend. The girls got ready about a block from the beach in Ocean City, NJ while the guys were even closer to the water. After a beautiful service at St. Francis Cabrini we headed off to the boardwalk for some cool shots of the bride & groom. The weather was perfect and everyone was a joy to work with. Jolyn & Scott stopped for a slice of pizza at Mack & Manco’s then proceeded to take a walk on the beach. We arrived just in time for cocktail hour at the Ocean City Yacht Club were the party was in full swing already. They had one of the coolest cakes I have seen, topped with Charlie Brown and Lucy bobble head figures. The setting sun on the bay behind the yacht club made for a perfect backdrop for the night’s festivities. Thanks again to Sue from Sue Burrough Photography for helping again this weekend.

Sabina & Jason {Wedding}

Sabina & Jason were married this past Friday in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Historic Smithville Village in Smithville, NJ. The village is a really cool place to shoot with all types of nooks and crannies to create some incredible images. It’s also full of “AFLAC” geese that don’t like having their picture taken. After fending of the geese and a brief rain shower we were able to get some really great shots after the sun went down. Thanks to Rich Myers from RM PRO Photo for helping out in the heat and rain .

Jaclyn & Matt {Wedding}

Jaclyn & Matt were married this past weekend at cool little church in New Gretna followed by a big party at Sea Oaks Country Club in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Lola said all the guys were great and probably the most fun she’s had shooting this year! While shooting family, friends, bride & groom back at Sea Oaks, we were attacked by mosquitoes… very vicious mosquitoes! Everyone was great and we got all the shots we needed. Near the end, Jaclyn smashed one of the buggers on her wrist which in turn splattered blood all over the front of her elegant dress! By the time she and Matt made the entrance it was all gone… not sure how she did it, but it was quite amazing. Matt being an avid golfer we had a lot of fun roaming the golf course. Lacking a tee, Matt volunteered to hold a ball in his mouth as Jaclyn teed off! Thanks again to Sue from Sue Burrough Photography for helping again this weekend.Good luck to you both!

Lauren & Allen {Engagement}

Tried to get Lauren & Allen’s engagement shoot in a couple of weeks ago, but the weather was no good. I’m so glad we waited to head into Philly and roam around Elfred’s Alley and then walk our way through Old City to the steps of 1st bank. We found some really cool wall art in a parking lot on our way; my favorite image of the day under the skull mural. While shooting at 1st bank, I looked up from my camera bag to see a badge being held towards me…. I was then asked for my permit to allow shooting in a Federal Park. Uummmm, “I dont have one.” The ranger was quite pleasant and said that I could continue with a verbal permit if anyone else asked. Couple hours of shooting combind with a couple slices of pizza up on Market St. made for a great day! Looking forward to seeing you both on the big day. It will be here before you know it!

Colleen & Jim {Wedding}

What a special day at the Mill in Spring Lake, NJ for Jim and Colleen to exchange vows in front of family and friends. Jim actually sent his vows to Colleen via a “Tweet;” it was quite moving. Just kidding, he was thinking about it though! He did have some time to check the Met’s score on his iPhone just prior to Colleen walking down the aisle. Colleen looked beautiful and both families were a pleasure to spend the day with. Special thanks to Sue of Sue Burrough Photography for helping capture all the day’s events. Of course no reception is complete without “Nerf automatic weapons”……enjoy!I wish you guys the best of luck.
