I know we say this over and over, but it’s still true. Our clients are awesome and we’re so lucky to witness such an important day in their lives. Every wedding is unique, but the emotions remain the same: love, tenderness, and joy (just to name a few). And each and every time, we feel truly honored to have been entrusted to capture these memories for our couples. Heather and Jason are one such couple—simply awesome. We were amazed at Heather’s grace and ease on her wedding day. No nervousness, no, not here. She exuded a calmness that only comes from knowing you are marrying your soul mate. This pretty much set the tempo for the entire day and we really enjoyed being with this couple and their families so much. Did I mention Heather had not one but two wedding dresses? She loved each dress and just couldn’t decide between them, so she wore both! Yeah, that’s how she rolls! Isn’t she lovely? Heather and Jason, thank you so much for bringing us into your lives and entrusting us to tell your wonderful love story.

Bianca & RJ {Engagement}

Bianca is such a happy bride-to-be with tons of positive energy, so I knew the shoot would be awesome. We started out the shoot at her parent’s house and it’s easy to see where Bianca gets her sunny side. The street shots are right around the corner from the house where she grew up. We found a couple of cool spots in town we liked too. And while we were shooting, something very unexpected happened: A chicken on a bike rode right past us (seriously), so we asked him to join in the fun and as you can see, he obliged! We had lots of fun, loved the energy and can’t wait to work with this couple again next year.

Ronni & Dave {Engagement} Grounds for Sculpture, Hamilton NJ

Ronni thought the perfect place for her and Dave’s engagement session would be at Grounds for Sculpture up in Hamilton NJ, and I think she was right! Dave and Ronni were really fun and willing to try just about anything. I love it when couples are “up for anything!” It just makes the time we spend together that more enjoyable. Hence the jumping We even saw a sneak preview of some of their dance moves they have planned for the wedding day! We are really excited about their upcoming wedding and looking forward to doing a mini-session with them on their wedding day at the Smoothie King in Middletown, New Jersey. Dave thinks the colors there are really bright and it would make for some very interesting, colorful photos. We’ll be able get as creative as we like since Dave and Ronni own the place!

Diana & Mike {Engagement}

Diana and Mike are getting married this summer. We are really physched to work with this awesome couple, especially, when Diana said, “We’re up for anything!” Diana wanted to go to the park by their house where Mike proposed. So we stopped by there to capture a few images of the happy couple and their pooch, Pixel. You heard right, Pixel! Mike is a self-proclaimed computer geek, but he’s kool Then we stopped by a couple of secret local spots we’ve had our eye on. Thanks guys for braving the entirely too humid weather and being willing to try just about anything. You guys look great and we can’t wait to work with you again this summer!

Kristen & Mark {Wedding}

Kristen and Mark were married Saturday at Saint Joan of Arc in Marlton, New Jersey. On our way to the reception at The Olde York Inn in Chesterfield, New Jersey, we stopped by one of our favorite places, Smithville Park & Mansion in Eastampton. Most of our weddings are not local, so we were glad to finally be able to shoot there with Kristen & Mark. Thanks guys for risking Kristen’s mom’s wrath by being just a little bit late to the cocktail hour — we think you’ll agree, it was well worth it! Kristen and her father did something a little different for the father-daughter dance: they rocked the room to Led Zepplin’s “Thank You!” We loved it & luckily, no one was injured Kristen & Mark, you guys were so much fun. Congratulations!

Marie & Ryan {Engagement}

Marie and Ryan are getting married next month. They go to school and live in Philadelphia, so the natural thing was to do engagement session in, where else? Philadelphia! Who needs a GPS? We had a great time with this couple who know the city like the back of their hand! We’re looking forward to their wedding at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and reception at The Racquet Club of Philadelphia and hope to capture some more cool Philly images. Heather and Jason are getting married next month. We tried to do their engagement session in the winter while it was snowing but unfortunately each time we arranged the session, they were plowed in and couldn’t make it out to the session! So, we decided to do a shoot in Philly. On our way into the city, we stopped by Citizens Bank Park to get some cool Philly fan shots. Heather and Jason are staunch Philly fans but we still like them anyway Then we spent a little time on Broad Street and at Love Park and were able to grab some cool shots before the sun went down. We’re looking forward to shooting their wedding at Great Bay Country Club in Ocean City next month. Congratulations Heather & Jason!

Maureen & Keith {Engagement}

Maureen and Keith are getting married this summer. Keith is a professional hockey player . Maureen thought it would be nice to incorporate some of Keith’s personality into the wedding plans, so she asked us if we would consider doing the session on the ice! Well, those of you that know me, know I have two passions in life: photography and hockey! So I jumped at the chance to combine a little of both!

Everleigh {Baby}

We had a wonderful day spending time photographing this four-day-old bundle of joy, Everleigh. She was so precious I thought I was going to have to stop Lola from taking Everleigh home with her! Even though they both were a little sleep deprived, Tara and Nick were so accommodating that we were able to get some very classic and very cool shots. We were just about to pack up when Haley, the dog decided to join in the fun and we’re certainly glad she did. Congratulations Tara & Nick on your beautiful daughter!

We had the pleasure of spending a couple of hours with Tara photographing her soon to be bundle of joy! With all the snow hitting NJ, I didn’t think we were ever going to be able to get this done, but she bundled up, braved the weather and headed over. Tara has such a natural beauty that everything we tried, worked out amazingly. She was up for any idea and was a real trooper. She is due in mid March and can’t wait to meet the little one.
